Is FGII a stand alone program or do I need to buy something else first?

Hello all,

I been eyeballing that FGII RMC edition and I was wondering if I had to buy some kinda starter software first and then plug this RMC ruleset into it.

I am not actually trying to game online, I just want it to reference and do all the math etc. for me. I love Rolemaster, been playing it since MERP / RMC2 days and I really like the Classic books but DANGNATION, its always been a page flip-fest. (Rule-Master, know what I mean) I want a simple and easy way to run my home campaigns.

So what, do I just spend the 20 bucks and I'm hooked up or what.
