There’s no doubt that adidas zx 700 has enjoyed a resurgence this year – with the release of the Ultra Boosts, NMDs and of course, Kanye West’s signing, the 3 Stripes have regained their place amongst footwear giants. Their sleek, futuristic designs (see: adidas Originals Tubular, ZX Flux) are almost “trademark” adidas at this point, so it comes to no surprise when adidas announced the release of the new Polygon pack. For those of you that mess with the adidas zx 850 line, you probably know that the adidas ZX Flux ADV Verve is the latest model that lineage has to offer. Not many colorways of the shoe have released thus far, but I’m willing to be that the Shock Pink pair you see above is without a doubt a pair that will leave you with a lasting impression. Through the phenomenal success of one of the first Adidas athletes, U.S. sprinter Jesse Owens, at the 1936 Summer Olympics, adidas zx 630 was flung onto the world stage as the trusted brand for runners on both track and road. Owens’ haul of four gold medals at the games created a worldwide phenomenon and resulted in Adidas selling over 200,000 pairs of shoes every year before the outbreak of World War II. With the introduction of Boost technology and its many incarnations, the recent introduction of AlphaBOUNCE to the market, and other high-performance footwear available to the world’s elite athletes this summer in Rio, adidas zx 500 has reinforced its place at the top of the pile. |
